MEMBERSHIP

Our membership consists of nearly 100 diverse individuals (of all backgrounds) that work or live in California’s forests and support the sustainable management of forests to generate renewable forest products.

We are natural resource professionals, loggers, landowners, educators, students, family members of people who work in the woods, and so much more!

What do we do?

  • Redwood Region Logging Conference

  • Sierra-Cascade Logging Conference

  • Forestry Institute for Teachers

  • The California Forest Foundation

DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION STATEMENT

Embracing each individual’s experiences and diverse perspectives builds stronger communities. California Women in Timber was organized in 1976 as an advocate for the local forest products and natural resources industries. Diversity and inclusion are foundational to our identity, culture, and history. We are committed to continuing these traditions through equitable and accessible educational outreach, professional development, and legislation in our local communities and throughout the State of California.
