California Women in Timber is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization committed to sustainable forestry and natural resource management. We are dedicated to educational outreach, professional development, and legislation in our local communities and throughout the State.

  • North Coast Chapter Fall Fundraiser

    11.22 5:30-10:30PM

    Please join us for our annual Fall Fundraiser! There will be live music, a raffle, live and silent auction, a Saloon featuring local spirits, and so much more!

  • 2024 California Women in Timber Annual Meeting

    11.23 9:30AM-7:00PM

    Please join us for another excellent CWIT Annual Meeting! Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Doors will Open at 9:30 and we will begin our business meeting at 10:00am. There will be guest speakers, lunch (provided), and a field tour of an Oak Woodland Restoration project near Berry Summit. If time allows, we may also look at a prescribed burn within the same area. There will be an optional social meet up/drinks after the field tour at The Logger Bar.

California Women in Timber (CWIT) contributes to economic stability and forest health in rural communities by:

  • Educating Californians about the benefits of sustainable forest management

  • Promoting diverse career opportunities and professional development

  • Supporting legislation that promotes the forest products industry and natural resource management

  • Student Member: $10

  • Individual Membership: $50

  • Associate/Business Member: $100+

Note: If you already for membership in 2023, your membership is valid through January 31st, 2025. Bylaw changes approved at the 2022 Annual Meeting raised the price of dues. Membership fees are not prorated if paid late.

Shasta Cascade Chapter Scholarship Program
