2024 California Women in Timber Annual Meeting
11.23 9:30AM-7:00PM
Please join us for another excellent CWIT Annual Meeting! Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Doors will Open at 9:30 and we will begin our business meeting at 10:00am. There will be guest speakers, lunch (provided), and a field tour of an Oak Woodland Restoration project near Berry Summit. If time allows, we may also look at a prescribed burn within the same area. There will be an optional social meet up/drinks after the field tour at The Logger Bar.
California Women in Timber (CWIT) contributes to economic stability and forest health in rural communities by:
Educating Californians about the benefits of sustainable forest management
Promoting diverse career opportunities and professional development
Supporting legislation that promotes the forest products industry and natural resource management

Note: If you already for membership in 2023, your membership is valid through January 31st, 2025. Bylaw changes approved at the 2022 Annual Meeting raised the price of dues. Membership fees are not prorated if paid late.

In May, the North Coast Chapter, based in Humboldt County, awarded $12,500 in scholarship awards to nine local high school seniors and California college students who are pursuing education and careers in natural resources-related fields. Congratulations to the recipients!
